Guide in Toscana organizes guided tours to one of the most extraordinary exhibitions ever devoted to the art of the early Renaissance:

The Springtime of the Renaissance. Sculpture and the Arts in Florence 1400-60

The exhibition sets out to illustrate the origin of what is still known today as the “miracle” of the Renaissance in Florence predominantly through masterpieces of sculpture, the form of figurative art in which it was first embodied. Following its debut in Florence, where it will be on view from 23 March to 18 August 2013, the exhibition will be shown at the Louvre in Paris from 23 September 2013 to 6 January 2014.

The Florence exhibition is a unique opportunity to see live together masterpieces of the greatest protagonists of the early Renaissance (Donatello, Michelozzo di Bartolomeo, Lorenzo Ghiberti, Brunelleschi, Mino da Fiesole, Benedetto da Maiano, Filippo Lippi, Masaccio, Andrea del Castagno, Luca della Robbia) some of which are preserved in museums and private collections abroad.

The visit to the exhibition will end with a guided tour to one of the most extraordinary monuments of Florence, the church of Orsanmichele, real incunabulum the first Florentine Renaissance.
